Our charity
UK RUBBISH HELPS EDUCATE CHILDREN AND END CHILD LABOUR IN THE PHILIPPINES
The Philippine Community Fund (PCF) works with children and their families living on rubbish dumps in the Philippines. We provide education, nutrition, medical and livelihood and skills training programmes. The parents of our students make beautiful handbags and jewellery from crisp packets, coffee pouches, ring-pulls from baked bean and drink cans etc, and toothpaste tubes, enabling them to escape abject poverty, learn a skill and earn a decent wage. When the first group of our students graduate in four years time, they will have the choice of being sponsored into higher education or being employed by PCF making our products.

HOW CAN WE HELP?
STEP 1 - Collect your used crisp packets, toothpaste tubes, coffee pouches and ring-pulls for us to send to Manila.
STEP 2 - These products will be made into amazing handbags, purses and jewellery by the parents of our school children.
STEP 3 - All net profits enable us to educate more children currently scavenging on landfill sites and employ more parents.
We work with the PCF charity and collect these waste materials to aid their project in the Philippines & if you want to find out how you can collect crisp packets and ring pulls etc in your work place or your school please contact us to find out how...
